RED Goes International | Rooftop Wedding In Cabo
RENOWNED Event Designs was tasked with orchestrating a unique and enchanting wedding experience for a couple who had their hearts set on a starry light ambiance combined with a clean, modern design. The catch? The wedding was to be held on the rooftop of The Cape Hotel in Cabo, overlooking the ocean. This stunning location came with its own set of obstacles.
The Challenge
RED was tasked with hanging beautiful string lights on the rooftop of The Cape Hotel. This was a very windy, open-air environment, since we were overlooking the beautiful waves of Cabo. Our team realized securing these light fixtures would prove to be difficult.
The Solution
To meet the challenge of creating a starry light vibe with a modern twist while dealing with the rooftop's windy conditions, RENOWNED Event Designs devised an innovative solution. RED crafted a contemporary sun-spoke design, employing black beams that seamlessly blended into the night sky. These black beams served a dual purpose: providing structural support and creating a visually stunning effect as they seemingly disappeared into the darkness. With the help from SAMKOMA, we were able to create a rooftop oasis the client could only dream of!

RED also had to create an electrifying EDM rave experience for this couple's reception on the rooftop located right by the ocean. The client's vision was clear - they wanted an immersive sound system and a visually dynamic atmosphere to transform their reception into an unforgettable party. The task was to overcome the logistical and environmental hurdles of a rooftop event while delivering an extraordinary experience.
The Solution
State-of-the-Art Sound System
RENOWNED Event Designs brought in a top-notch, high-powered sound system designed to deliver the bass-driven beats and crystal-clear melodies essential for EDM. Our team allowed the music to be heard and felt by every guest while still being aware of the environment surrounding the venue.
Dynamic Lighting Effects
To visually transform the rooftop into a party wonderland, RENOWNED Event Designs deployed a stunning array of lighting effects. This included laser lighting that projected intricate patterns and vibrant colors, creating an otherworldly visual experience. Over-the-top moving lights (movers) were strategically placed to dance in sync with the music, adding a dynamic and immersive element to the atmosphere. The synergy between sound and light captivated guests, making them feel like they had stepped into a music video or a high-energy nightclub.
The booming sound system and dazzling lights created an atmosphere of pure energy and excitement. Guests were transported to a world of pulsating beats and vibrant colors, dancing the night away under the starry sky and against the backdrop of the ocean's rhythmic waves.
RENOWNED Event Designs successfully transformed a challenging oceanfront rooftop setting into an unforgettable experience and ensured the client’s vision became a reality.
