Nashville’s PRIDE | RED’s Sun Shade Solution

In June 2023, RENOWNED Event Designs was honored to be a part of Nashville’s  PRIDE festival. There were some obstacles with controlling the summer heat while adding a vibrant aesthetic to the event but you already know RED was up for the challenge!

The Challenge

Swanky Shade

Nashville PRIDE's event takes place in June, coinciding with the sweltering summer temperatures of Tennessee. The comfort of the large and diverse audience became a top priority. The challenge was to create a sun shade structure that not only provided relief from the scorching sun but also added a visually appealing element to the event.

The Solution

RENOWNED Event Designs responded to the challenge with an innovative and creative solution. To address the issue of intense heat, RENOWNED Event Designs designed and constructed a 60x30 structure. This impressive structure provided shade and a respite from the hot Nashville sun. The design incorporated durable, colorful sun shades that not only blocked UV rays but also added a vibrant atmosphere that fit perfectly in the event space.

Performance Stage Integration

RED strategically placed the sun shade structure in front of one of the primary performance stages to maintain the event’s flow and aesthetic appeal. This integration ensured that attendees could enjoy the live entertainment from performer FLETCHER and more, without compromising on their comfort. Watch some of her performance HERE.

Colorful Lighting Design

RENOWNED Event Designs went the extra mile by installing colorful lighting fixtures inside the truss of the sun shade structure. These lights not only illuminated the structure but also turned it into a stunning statement piece after the sun went down. The dynamic lighting design added an element of magic and excitement to the evening festivities, making it an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
