Red Bull Unlocked Meets Nashville - Block Party
What do Rosemary & Beauty Queen, The Dive Motel, The Lipstick Lounge, Tin Roof, Pearl Diver, The Stage, Woolworth Theatre, White Limozeen, Play Dance Bar, and Eleven Eleven have in common? They know how to throw a party! With 10 local Nashville reputations to live up to and recreate, this was the Music City block party of all block parties. Hosted by Red Bull Unlocked.
The Challenge
When Red Bull approached us, they had a vision to create the ambiance of several Nashville bars and we brought the ability to replicate. We installed special lighting and drapery for the venues below and handled all functional and decorative lighting in all other spaces - lighting for stages as well as all other vendors.
Lipstick Lounge
We recreated the iconic backdrop from behind the stage of the actual Lipstick Lounge. We covered the trees with twinkle lights, had blow up lips for seating and Red Bull provided a take-home for guests - the lipstick logo.
Pearl Diver
We set the stage with custom white staging and platforms. To set the ambiance of the set, we included uplighting of different temperatures to assist with the flow of the event. We brought in custom made 10 foot tall tiki torches, and spot lighting to showcase the props.
Eleven eleven
We wrapped an entire house on the inside with blue and black drapery to create the deep dark ambiance of the ocean. Uplighting and minimal string lighting was used behind the drapery to give a bubbling look, while keeping the space dark and mysterious. Live actors were brought in as mermaids & sea monsters inside of the space. Neon signs were used for the bar logo & fog machines created a spooky film across the floor.
Tin Roof
We recreated the famous christmas light ceiling from tinroof inside of a local bar on the block.
